DECT Multi-Cell Wireless Capability

Panasonic DECT 6.0 Multi-Cell Wireless option allows voice and data transmission via DECT radio waves, within the range of strategically placed cell stations (antennas). DECT telephones do not interfere with standard computer 802.11 or other household transmissions. As you move throughout the coverage area, the system provides seamless communication by automatically handing off the call from cell station to cell station. There are two DECT Multi-Cell wireless handsets the KX-TD7685, the premium KX-TD7695 and the ruggedized KX-TD7696.. A maximum of 28 wireless handsets can be registered to the KX-TDA50G; up to wired 56 handsets can be registered on either the KX-TDA/TDE100 or KX-TDA/TDE200, up to 512 handsets can be tied to the KX-TDA/TDE600, and 64 handsets can be registered to the KX-NCP platforms. In all cases, handsets can also be registered on to up to four separate TDE or NCP systems. Multi-Cell Wireless is low-cost and highly flexible solution that keeps people connected whether they are on the factory floor, in the warehouse, in a showroom or just about anywhere on site.

An available option is the ability to marry an individual portable handset directly to a wired extension.  Know as Wireless XDP, both phones will operate as one. Activation of an assigned portable station during a wired extension conversation will automatically transfer the call to the multi-cell portable station when turned on.  The transfer back to the wired extension is also as seamless.

Cell Station antennas must be located approximately 10 feet or more apart.  On the KX-TDA50G, up to eight 2-Channel DECT Cell Station antennas can be used to provide up to sixteen (16) talk paths for expanded coverage. Or select from the wired or IP based 8-Channel cell stations.  Each cell station antenna can be up to 1640 feet away from the KX-TDA/TDE/NCP control unit, and connects with four wires. In the case of the IP 8-Channel cell station, the unit can be located anywhere within your internal network. Wired cell station antennas are powered by their control unit eliminating the need for local power outlets.

For larger simultaneous voice requirements, the KX-TDA/TDE 100/200 and 600 systems have the ability to supports up to 512 wireless portable stations.  Either the KX-T0144 or KX-TDA0142 Cell Station antenna can be interfaced with a KX-TDA/TDE 100/200/600 control units.  Two channel KX-T0144 connect easily to any compatible extension port, while the KX-TDA0142 three channel antenna connects either to an 8 or 16 port cell station interface card.

Typical range is over 500 feet outdoors, however actual range will depend on the number and location of the Cell Station antennas.

		KX-TD7694 DECT Premium Multi-Cell Wireless Phone. The premium “executive” model KX-TD7694 is a sleek and extremely lightweight, ultra thin portable handset. This handset weighs three (3) ounces with the battery. The KX-TD7694 has a 5-line backlit LCD display, a navigation key for line selection and feature access, and is equipped with a convenient 2.5mm headset jack. 		KX-TD7684 DECT Multi-Cell Wireless Telephone The KX-TD7689 is the standard wireless handset, weighing six (6) ounces with the battery, is slightly larger than the TD7690 but smaller than most home cordless telephones. Features include a 3-line backlit LCD display, navigation key, line selection and feature keys and a 2.5mm headset jack.
