The
KX-TDA0164 is a 4-port External Sensor and 4-port Relay Control
Board. KX-TDA0164 mounts onto the OPB3 Option Card. The sensor will
react to an input from an external sensor device and treat this
change as an incoming call. The sensor call destination can be a
System Phone, Analog Phone, Wireless Handset, but not an Incoming
Call Distribution Group.
If an
external sensor becomes active, there are 3 possible events: |
| |
|
|
| |
1) Sensor
notification will be sent to the pre-programmed extension |
|
| |
2) Generates
SMDR Printout |
|
| |
3)
Generates 3rd Party CTI command |
|
| |
|
|
|
When an extension receives a sensor call, the
telephone LCD will display the pre-assigned name of the sensor
port and will ring with a distinctive, preassigned ring
pattern. If nobody answers a sensor call, the call will stop
after a pre-programmed time. Please note that an outside number
cannot be assigned as a destination for the sensor call. |

Relay
Control –
Extensions
can activate any one of 4 relay controls/external
devices (On/Off) by a pre-programmed feature code. For example you
can
use the relay control as a master control for Door Openers, Alarms,
Lights and yes, even a Coffee Maker. |
