Spread over the six decks are 188 extension connections and 45 private cellular network phones.  The dual networked Panasonic KX-TDA system consists of sixteen incoming marine, VoIP and satellite lines, some of which are dedicated to three administrative fax machines.

Working area call groups were set up for officers, administration, engineering, housekeeping, deck services and foodservice.  Each crew member was assigned a KX-TD7680 Wireless Cellular Telephone with immediate access to other members of his/her work group. members.  After hours, calls flow to the duty phone for each department, overflowing to key crew members.

The "state of the art" cellular network consists of five KX-TD7690 Premium Wireless Cellular Phones and forty KX-TD7680 Wireless phones, all accessed through a system of sixteen 3-channel cell station antennas.  Antennas are strategically located on all six decks of the boat, placement was based on signal strength issues necessitated by the metal decks and bulkheads.

The largest power supply, supports previously used Panasonic KX-T7500 European series digital telephones.  A number of KX-T7636 IP-Hybrid System Telephones were installed using the digital XDP doubling capabilities of the TDA system.  The ability to hang multiple wired telephones of a single pair of Category 5 wire, eliminated the need to run additional wiring under very demanding conditions.

U.S. Navy Vessels

Since August 2006, Comvox has maintained, programmed and updated KX-TDA100 with up to sixty-four digital extensions on six U.S. Navy vessels berthed at Naval Station Mayport, Jacksonville, Florida.

Panasonic telephone systems are on several U.S. Navy ships including the nuclear submarine, USS Ulysses.

This 150 foot day boat has a KX-TDA200 with both KX-TD7636 wired phones and KX-TD7680 and KX-TD7690 wireless cellular telephones.
